Michael P. Duffy

Mike serves as coverage and monitoring counsel for major insurers. He also represents insurers in coverage disputes and litigation, primarily involving directors and officers’ liability, professional liability and other financial lines insurance policies. He is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and in Rhode Island and has conducted jury and bench trials in both jurisdictions.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, Fourth, Sixth and Ninth Circuits.

Mike’s practice also includes general civil litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of professional liability claims. He has represented numerous professionals, including attorneys and financial institution directors and officers.

Mike served as Managing Partner of the firm from 2002 – 2012.
