Matt represents manufacturers and retailers in complex product liability matters involving pharmaceuticals and consumer products. He has been a member of numerous discovery and trial teams in state and federal courts across the country with a focus on the defense of mass tort, class action, and multi-district proceedings. He has also coordinated cross-border litigation for his product liability clients. Matt is a go-to resource for the identification and preparation of expert witnesses across a variety of disciplines. He has spearheaded successful challenges to the admissibility of plaintiff expert testimony concerning causation and warning issues that have resulted in litigation-ending decisions on behalf of his clients.
Matt defends professional liability and medical malpractice actions on behalf of a wide variety of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, mental healthcare providers, hospitals and long-term care providers. His additional experience includes the defense of business litigation, toxic tort, and legal professional liability matters.
