Elizabeth is a member of the firm’s employment law and general litigation practice groups. She specializes in counseling employers and litigating a variety of employment matters, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower, wage and hour, breach of contract, as well as other statutory and common law claims under state and federal law.
Elizabeth also represents individuals, owners, contractors, doctors, nurses, hospitals, property managers, restaurants, hotels and businesses in a wide range of disputes in state and federal court and through the mediation process. She represents various licensed professionals in connection with Board complaints and other licensure-related proceedings.
Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold, Elizabeth practiced at an insurance defense firm in Boston where she litigated civil rights and employment matters on behalf of the insured in state and federal court and administrative proceedings.
Elizabeth is well-versed in all phases of litigation, having handled matters from pre-suit to motion practice to trial and appeals. She has served as second chair on jury trials, with verdicts in her clients’ favor.
Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. During law school, Elizabeth was a member of the Moot Court Board, Villanova Law’s principal oral advocacy organization.
