Amanda advises U.S. and international insurers in coverage matters with a focus on representations and warranties insurance (RWI) claims arising from mergers and acquisitions. She also has extensive experience conducting claim investigations and evaluating coverage under media and professional liability, commercial crime, fidelity, cyber, and general liability policies.
Amanda advises clients on a broad range of RWI matters, often involving claimed breaches of representations regarding the company or target’s financial statements, condition of assets, intellectual property, material contracts, material customers or suppliers, tax matters, labor matters, or environmental matters. Amanda frequently works with technical advisors to evaluate quantum of loss issues arising in various industries.
Amanda also has experience representing insurers in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation.
Before entering private practice, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk on the Massachusetts Appeals Court (2015-2016) and the Connecticut Appellate Court (2014-2015).
