George is Of Counsel to the firm’s employment litigation, insurance coverage, and professional liability practices, leveraging thousands of hours of courtroom and negotiation experience as a first chair litigator for both state and federal law enforcement agencies. George has led exceptionally complex litigation with voluminous evidence by adeptly organizing resources, optimizing roles for partners, and developing comprehensive trial strategies.
Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold, George served as an Assistant District Attorney, Special Prosecutions Unit, in Suffolk County (MA), one of only four attorneys in the office who focused on white collar investigations involving financial fraud and identity theft and regularly partnered with state and federal law enforcement agencies. George also argued successfully before the Massachusetts Appeals Court in a matter of first impression.
More recently, George served as an Assistant Chief Counsel (Trial Attorney) at the United States Department of Homeland Security, focusing on matters involving fraud and national security, and having considerable success in appellate matters.

George is a longtime ice hockey player, coach, and official. As an official, he has worked youth, high school, junior, and collegiate games.
