Joseph’s practice concentrates on insurance coverage disputes and bad faith litigation.  He counsels insurers on complex coverage questions and best practices to avoid bad faith exposure.

Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold, Joseph represented veterans in appeals of VA decisions denying compensation for service-related disabilities.  He drafted appellate briefs and pre-briefing memoranda and negotiated motions for remand to VA with their Office of General Counsel.

Joseph received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.  During law school, he was a student defender in the Criminal Law Clinic.  He was also a law clerk at a firm that represents whistleblowers in false claims act cases.

Joseph enjoys poetry, history podcasts, folk music, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.  He is a fan of the New York Giants, Mets, and Manchester City F.C.
