Maureen Mulligan Confirmed as Associate Justice of the Superior Court

Peabody & Arnold is proud to announce that partner Maureen Mulligan has been confirmed as an Associate Justice of the Commonwealth’s Superior Court.  It is a well-deserved honor for Maureen who has a distinguished record as a litigator and active member of the Massachusetts legal community.  Maureen brings to the bench her broad experience as a trial lawyer representing clients in complex business disputes, professional liability claims, and insurance coverage matters.  Maureen is an alumna of Boston College Law School and Brown University.  She started her career at Peabody & Arnold in 1990 and after practicing in California and another Boston law firm re-joined the Firm as a partner in 2015.  Over her lengthy career, Maureen has served in leadership roles with the American Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association.  She currently serves as chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession and throughout her career has advocated for the advancement of women in the profession of law.  Maureen has been honored with a number of awards for her leadership and excellence in the practice of law.
