Yashira’s civil litigation practice focuses on the representation of insurers in coverage disputes. This includes assessing coverage, preparing coverage opinions, investigating claims, as well as defending coverage actions in courts. Yashira primarily counsels and defends insurers in matters regarding general liability and business liability policies.
Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold, Yashira was an associate in the Litigation and Reputation Management practices of a mid-size law firm in New York City, where she was actively involved in all stages of litigation. In that role, she represented an array of clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, ranging from breach of contract to negligent hiring.
Yashira graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2016. During her time at Northeastern, Yashira interned for the in-house legal department at Eversource and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul Wooten of the New York Supreme Court.
