The representation of lawyers in malpractice cases makes up a large part of our work, but we also represent judges, financial service providers, officers and directors, nurses, clergy, social workers, psychologists, teachers, physicians, insurance agents, brokers, actuaries, accountants, architects, and engineers. In coverage matters, we typically represent professional liability insurers.

We represent professionals in civil lawsuits in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire, and in disciplinary proceedings before state agencies.

We appreciate the sensitivity of these types of cases and the effect that a claim of malpractice or misconduct can have on a professional's career. We resolve these matters as quickly and as confidentially as possible. It is an unfortunate reality that sometimes trials are necessary.
