Timothy O. EganPARTNER Since joining Peabody & Arnold in 1998, Tim Egan's practice has combined professional malpractice defense and business litigation. In his professional malpractice practice, Mr. Egan has represented scores of attorneys, brokers, accountants, insurance professionals, engineers, and architects in both state and federal court. In 2001, he successfully represented a prominent Boston law firm in what is believed to be the longest legal malpractice trial in the Commonwealth's history. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Egan has represented all types of business and professional associations. He has similarly represented and defended individual partners, members and shareholders in all manner of business and contractual disputes.
Mr. Egan has been selected as one of Massachusetts' "Rising Stars" in a joint survey conducted by the publishers of Law & Politics magazine and Boston magazine as part of a special publication titled "The Top Attorneys in Massachusetts" (2005-2010).
