Over the last 30 years, Bob Gill has handled a wide range of complex litigation matters. He is a versatile and dynamic lawyer. Mr. Gill's litigation practice is now concentrated in the areas of professional liability and commercial and business litigation. In the course of his professional liability practice, Mr. Gill has represented hundreds of professionals. Mr. Gill represents lawyers, accountants, investment advisors, bankers, insurance professionals, medical professionals, educators, town officials and officers and directors of corporations. Mr. Gill has recently successfully represented a law firm in what is believed to be the longest malpractice trial in Massachusetts. He has also represented the lawyer in the largest defalcation case ever reported in Massachusetts. In addition, Mr. Gill has defended a number of intellectual property and patent law firms in malpractice suits. Mr. Gill handles insurance coverage cases.

In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Gill represents a wide variety of corporations and partnerships in business and commercial litigation. He has handled matters including MGLA 93A (the Massachusetts unfair competition statute), fraud, misrepresentation, employment, shareholder litigation in both public and closely held corporations, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, securities issues, breach of contract, business torts, ERISA, trademark and other intellectual property issues. In addition, Mr. Gill has a variety of software and web-based companies as clients.

From November 2004 through 2010, Mr. Gill was selected as one of the State's "Super Lawyers" in a joint survey conducted by the publishers of Law & Politics magazine and Boston magazine as part of a special publication titled "The Top Attorneys in Massachusetts." Massachusetts Super Lawyers were chosen through an extensive process of polling, research and screening. Mr. Gill also has had an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell for 30 years.

Mr. Gill has been a member of the American Arbitration Association Panel of Arbitrators and has been a hearing committee member of the Board of Bar Overseers. He is also experienced in mediation.
