Alan Tannenwald is developing his practice in business litigation, employment law, insurance coverage litigation, and professional liability defense.
Mr. Tannenwald is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of Gender & the Law, a member of the BarristersÂ’ Council, and a Senior Writing Fellow. In 2007, Mr. Tannenwald was named World Champion of the London Law Review Moot Court Competition. During law school, he also received awards for writing the best exams in Professional Responsibility and Corporate Diversity Counseling.
Mr. Tannenwald is also a summa cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, where he was awarded High Honors in American Studies and elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year.
Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold LLP, Mr. Tannenwald practiced law in the Boston office of Ropes & Gray LLP, where he was an associate in the Litigation and Labor & Employment Departments. During law school, he worked as a Summer Associate in the Boston office of Foley Hoag LLP and served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Roger W. Titus of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
